I’m going to prom with a guy from my work. He’s 19 and I’m 16. My boss told me today when she found out that she would have to talk to her lawyers because she’s concerned about liability and sexual harassment issues. I have permission from both my parents and my (Catholic) school to attend prom with him. Does she have any say in the matter considering this is not related to work and I have parental/institutional consent? I’m not necessarily worried but I am not sure if she has the right to say he can’t go with me. Help?
